Purpose

The purpose of the National Day of Care is to sponsor an annual event which promotes assistance to victims of humanitarian crises. The initial focus is to "help save Africa" by responding to the over 15 million orphans and victims of AIDS on this continent.

On the National Day of Care contributions of time and funds are encouraged. The National Day of Care can provide a list of recommended relief organizations where funds can be sent and volunteers are needed.

The National Day of Care is observed one day in February each year across the United States. The National Day of Care is also involved in other projects throughout the year which assist orphans and children in crisis in the United States and around the world.
