Campaign 2008A primary goal of the National Day of Care is to help mobilize churches to respond to humanitarian crises. AIDS is the greatest humanitarian crisis in history and the millions of children who have become orphans due to the pandemic represent it's greatest tragedy. This is particularly true in Africa where 200,000 people lose their lives to AIDS each month and over l5 million children have become orphans due to the disease. It is widely recognized that the Church has the greatest ability and strongest mandate to solve the orphan and AIDS crisis in Africa as well as other crises in America and around the world. All Americans are encouraged to participate in the National Day of Care, but churches are urged to lead the endeavor. The following materials have been designed to help you and your congregation participate in the National Day of Care, and become engaged in handing hope to the world. There are 3 Easy Steps to follow in order to particpate.
