National Day of Care Observance
A primary goal of the National Day of Care is to help mobilize churches to “help save Africa”. WHY?
- AIDS is the greatest humanitarian crisis in history
- Africa is being destroyed by AIDS
- There are over 15 million AIDS orphans in Africa
- The Church has a responsibility to act
This initiative is an exciting opportunity to impact the world by “putting feet to our prayers!”
3 Easy Steps to Participation:
- 1. Review
Let your congregation know in advance the National Day of Care will be observed in your church and briefly explain the ministry. - 2. Respond
On National Day of Care Sunday provide the bulletin insert, show the DVD, Power Point or share Talking Points (see Materials page for these resources). Give your church an opportunity to Pray, Give, or Volunteer to:
- current project involving your church or denomination
- Christian humanitarian organization (World Vision, Orphan Care Initiative, etc.)
- directly to National Day of Care
- 3. Report
Please e-mail us at hope@nationaldayofcare.org and let us know about your involvement. We want to hear your story!
