3 Easy Steps to Participation:

  1. 1. Review

    Share with your group (civic, business, school, etc.) about National Day of Care which is helping to save Africa, primarily by responding to the over 15 million AIDS orphans. See Materials page for resources you can use to share with your group.

  2. 2. Respond

    Join in observing the National Day of Care. While the date is on a Sunday, you can opt to have your group participate any day in February. You may choose to do one of the following:

    • Collect change - Ask individuals to put their loose change in a specified container. Send funds raised to National Day of Care or another organization of your choice.
    • Parties with a purpose - Give the amount of money you would have spent on a group or office party.
    • Join the ONE Campaign to Make Poverty History (www.one.org).
    • Schedule a speaker - Ask someone who is involved in assisting orphans to speak to your group (civic, business, school, etc.).
    • Organize a fundraiser (dinner, walk-a-thon, car wash, etc.) – get creative, have fun!
